Welcome to Baton Rouge Community College’s Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships. We recognize that a higher education represents an important financial commitment for families. To apply for aid, all students must be admitted to BRCC as degree or certificate seeking students. Accepted students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at The FAFSA must be completed annually and will be available January 1st of the award year. Priority deadline is April 1.




Code of Conduct

The staff of BRCC’s Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is expected to maintain exemplary standards of professional conduct when dealing with any entities involving student financial aid. Therefore, all of our actions are bound by the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA). The NASFAA Statement of Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct for Institutional Financial Aid Professionals was published in May 2007. This statement outlines our code of conduct.
