Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) announced the promotion of Christopher Johnson to the Assistant Chief of Police for the BRCC Police Department (BRCCPD).
The pinning ceremony for Allied Health graduates will take place at 10 a.m. The pinning ceremony for Nursing graduates will take place a 1 p.m.
PRO Louisiana funds training courses for occupations that are critical to the state's flood recovery and resilience efforts. The goal is to develop a skilled workforce to support flood risk reduction projects and build up Louisiana’s defense against future disasters.

Named after former Louisiana Governor Mike J. Foster, the MJ Foster Promise Program is a new $10.5 million annual state fund that will provide financial support for students to earn credentials that align to high-demand jobs in these growing industry sectors.
