Drip, Sip & Jam – In Support of BRCC Athletics

BATON ROUGE, LA – Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) is proud to announce Drip, Sip & Jam, an unforgettable evening and premier fundraising event in support of the BRCC Athletics Department. The event will be held Thursday, March 27 at 6 p.m. at the BRCC Bonne Sante Wellness Center, on the Mid City Campus, 201 Community College Dr. The evening will be hosted by Ronnie Rantz, former LSU baseball pitcher and longtime sports broadcaster.

The athletics fundraiser will be a night of art, flavors and music in support of the BRCC Athletics Department, helping athletes excel both on and off the court.

Event Features

  • Drip: Engage in creative art sessions with Michael Anderson of Boot Up Customs, where attendees can paint, decorate, and customize their favorite sneakers and apparel. Enjoy a live painting of a sneaker wall sculpture by TJ Black, with the piece auctioned during the event.
  • Sip: Savor espresso martinis by Sip Social paired with delightful bites from top local restaurants.
  • Jam: Experience live entertainment by the band Pants Party.

LSU Legends

A special table of LSU legends will give attendees the chance to meet some of the greatest names in LSU sports history, including:

  • Coach Dale Brown – Former LSU Men’s Basketball Head Coach with two Final Four appearances.
  • Coach John Brady – Guided the LSU basketball team to the 2006 Final Four.
  • Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf (formerly Chris Jackson) – Record-setting collegiate career followed by nine years in the NBA.
  • Stanley Roberts – Former LSU standout and NBA player.
  • Ryan Theriot and Brad Cresse – Notable contributors to LSU baseball, with Theriot later earning two World Series titles.
  • Quianna Chaney – Celebrated for her excellence in LSU women's basketball and current Southern Lab basketball coach.
