Liberal Arts

The Division of Liberal Arts at Baton Rouge Community College provides students with a strong academic foundation in communication, critical thinking, creativity, and cultural understanding through programs in the humanities, fine arts, social sciences, communication, and English.

The division supports both transfer-focused and workforce-oriented pathways by preparing students for continued university study, professional careers, and engaged citizenship.
