To Start Benefits at BRCC
- Complete the online Admission Application.Note: Official copies of transcripts from each college or university—including the Joint Services Transcript (JST)—must be submitted for evaluation to the Office of the Registrar.
- Apply for VA Education Benefits.
- Complete the Certification Process.
- Submit the Enrollment Certification Request for Veterans Benefits Form after scheduling classes.
(This form must be submitted each semester. Renewal is not automatic. Suggested deadline: 4 weeks before semester start.) - The Veterans Affairs Office will report your enrollment to the VA based on eligible
scheduled courses. Ineligible courses include:
- Courses not required for your degree
- Courses not approved by your advisor
- Courses for which you have already received credit
- You will receive an email notification when the School Certifying Official submits your enrollment certification.
- Submit the Enrollment Certification Request for Veterans Benefits Form after scheduling classes.
