Off Campus Access: How to Log In to the Online Databases from Home
The BRCC Library's online databases may be accessed off-campus with your BRCC Library User ID number (Lnumber with a capital L), and your library PIN (6 digit birth date: mmddyy, i.e. 010294).
Faculty, staff, and students should log in to the databases with their campus ID number (Lnumber with a capital L), which is at the top of each person's schedule in LoLA) as their Library user ID and their 6 digit birth date (mmddyy, i.e. 010294) as their PIN. The letter (L, N, H, etc.) in the user ID must be capitalized. The 6-digit birthdate PIN should include numbers only.
If you are unable to access the online databases from home, we may need to update your library account information. To verify the status of your Library privileges, please chat with us, email us at library@mybrcc.edu, come to the library for help, or call (225) 216-8555. A librarian will be happy to assist you. Please include your BRCC ID number in all correspondence with the Library.
Off-campus access: Scroll down and click on the name of the database you would like to use. Then enter your Lnumber user ID and 6-digit birthdate PIN. If you are using a computer on campus, you may go directly to a database by clicking on its title in the list below.
