Welcome to BRCC Libraries: We've got you covered!
The BRCC Libraries identify and meet educational and research needs to increase information literacy, life-long learning, and quality of life. This is done by providing quality information services and instruction to students, faculty, staff, and the learning communities at large.
Our resources include more than 55,000 physical items and media, over 84,000 full-text books available through our eBook collections, and a variety of databases of scholarly articles to assist you with your research. The library's electronic resources are available 24/7 and all are accessible on our homepage.
The BRCC Library is here to support your success. Librarians are available to assist you both online and in person.
Our virtual and in-person library hours and the hours for the Mid-City Magnolia Library are Monday through Thursday 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M when classes are in session. Between semesters and when classes are not in session, the Magnolia Library is open 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.
Contacting the library is easy. We are available to answer your questions via email, chat, phone, and in person. For help you can email us your questions at library@mybrcc.edu, chat with us by using the chat box to the lower left, or call. Our phone number is 225-216-8555. You can also stop by the library for in-person support at the service desk.
Look to the blue navigation bars and find:
- Catalog search (which can show you eBooks available online through the library or help you find print books on the shelf)
- The library's online database list which gives you access to content from over 100 online databases
- Our resource guides (LibGuides)--short guides to the subjects and programs BRCC offers, e.g. English, Psychology, Welding, Machine Tool Technology, and much more!
If you don't see what you're looking for in the Library's online catalog or databases, you may request materials be added to our collection.
