Tutoring Assistance
The Division of Veterans Affairs (DVA) will pay up to $600 in tutoring help for you. You must be receiving VA educational benefits to be eligible.
The DVA pays for the tutor at a rate of no more than $100 per month, which is paid to you. You are responsible for paying the tutor. You may be eligible for an additional $600 in tutoring benefits, for a total of $1,200. This additional $600 in tutoring will be deducted from your VA educational benefits.

Work-Study
You may be eligible for VA Work-Study if you are enrolled 3/4 time or more and are currently receiving VA educational benefits. The work-study program allows you to work at an approved VA site. Those who are eligible are paid at the greater of either the federal or state minimum wage. To apply, complete VA form 22-8691.
