The BRCC Public Relations & Marketing Department is dedicated to assisting the college community in achieving success in your projects. Our collaboration begins with a clear understanding of the processes and the necessary steps to create a successful project.
Please follow the steps below to initiate a project with the Marketing and Public Relations Department:
Steps to Initiating Your Project with Marketing and Public Relations
- Identify Your Needs: Determine the category of service required—Marketing, Creative Services, Photography, Public Relations, Social Media, Video, E-news, or Website.
- Submit Your Request: Complete the appropriate online project request form on the BRCC website. This is an important first step to set things in motion. All requests are received and started on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Meeting/Communication with Marketing and Public Relations: Once the project request form is submitted, a Marketing and Public Relations team member will contact you within 24 to 48 hours. Depending on the project's scope, a meeting may be arranged to finalize the plan, or further instructions will be communicated via email.
- Submit Information and Files: Provide all relevant materials (copy points, documents, and photos) at the beginning of the project. Delays in submission will affect the project start date and completion time.
- Drafts / Revisions: The Marketing and Public Relations team will provide drafts and revisions at the agreed-upon dates based on the project plan and timeline.
- Approvals: The requestor and department head (if required) must provide final approval before projects are shared electronically or sent to vendors.
- Submit Purchase Order Information: For jobs involving professional services, the department must submit a completed purchase order before the job is sent to the vendor.
