The NBRITI program provides tuition-free training in the electrical, millwright, pipefitting, instrumentation, welding and process technology disciplines to residents of North Baton Rouge. Graduates of the program receive a national certification from their respective disciplines, making them job-ready in a variety of high-demand industrial crafts.

NBRITI launched in 2012 as a partnership between BRCC and ExxonMobil, and ExxonMobil continues to support the program and hire many of its graduates. NBRITI is dedicated to empowering residents from the North Baton Rouge area by establishing a direct pathway to training and meaningful careers in the industrial sector.

Officials from ExxonMobil presented the check to BRCC administrators this week at the fall NBRITI Advisory Council Meeting
