CSST - FIELD SAFETY
This NCCER (National Center for Construction Education and Research) occupational safety program is the one most needed and large construction companies request for becoming a safety technician in a plant or on a large construction site. It is designed so that students can take either half first (the "Field Safety" half or the "Safety Technology" half). This CSST (Construction Site Safety Technician) program deals with hazard recognition and safety management systems. Topics covered include hazard communication, work zone safety, personal protective equipment, fall protection, trenching safety, job safety analysis and task safety analysis, safety meetings, work permit policies, risk analysis and assessment.
Those who complete both courses and pass all NCCER tests receive certification as a Construction Site Safety Technician through the National Center for Construction Education and Research, along with up to five additional credentials. These CSST courses are offered in an online/hybrid format where students participate in Zoom classes on Saturdays, that includes lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. Students read through presentations and study guides to complete simple assignments and quizzes online on their own, all to prepare for NCCER's official online tests that can be taken at any time of the day or night. This program is eight weeks long with four Saturdays in each course. Recordings of Saturday classes are available in case students cannot make the Saturday sessions, which makes this course flexible with a student's schedule.

Prepare for the Louisiana Notary Public Examination. This CSSO course is hazard awareness training to help you work safely on a constuction site. In this course we:

PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR EXAM PREP COURSE
Intensive course that teaches students basic investigative skills and discovery techniques. Become familiar with the Louisiana State Private Investigator Exam: state/federal investigator laws, undercover investigations, surveillance techniques, interview/statement methods, court record checks, subpoena procedures, computer database research, video/still photography techniques, locating witnesses and missing-persons, and testifying strategies.

CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Upon successful completion of course, the student will receive a certificate of completion as having completed the training requirements of the Certified Medical Assistant. This program is designed to provide thorough didactic and practical instruction and a basic system overview of the role of the medical assistant in a practical setting. Classroom lectures cover the theory, anatomy and terminology pertaining to each system. Practical instruction provides hands-on training in the listed procedures verified through a skills check-off system. Trainees will learn fundamental skills sets needed to show mastery in AWS welding applications. Trainees will be exposed to stick welding, mig and tig based on their ability level. NCCER - HEAVY EQUIPMENT BASICS
This course begins NCCER's CORE curriculum which is a prerequisite to all other craft courses. The modules covered in CORE include topics such as basic safety, construction math, hand tools, power tools, blueprint reading, basic rigging, basic communication skills and basic employability skills. Completing the CORE curriculum gives the trainee the basic skills needed to continue education in any craft area. Students will receive 350 clock hours of training in NCCER's Heavy Equipment Operator Level 1 curriculum plus three modules from Level 3 including Backhoes, Excavators, and Bulldozers in addition to OSHA standards. Training will be comprised of heavy equipment safety, identification of heavy equipment, introduction to earthmoving, dozers, backhoes, and excavators. Equipment types included in this program are bulldozer, backhoe loader, skid steer loader, and mini-excavator. Equipment is subject to change. Students will receive a certificate of completion from the NCCER's National Registry. Prerequisites: Student must be at least 17 years old.

NCCER - INSTRUMENTATION LEVEL 1
Instrument Fitters and Technicians perform key installation and maintenance functions across several industries. The field of instrumentation covers important processes and knowledge areas, including piping, tubing, fasteners, and metallurgy. Instrumentation Technicians and Fitters are familiar with electrical systems, craft-specific drawings, and are experts in the hand and power tools specific to their trade. NCCER - MILLWRIGHT LEVEL 1
Millwrights work on construction sites and in factories assembling and disassembling machinery. This work can involve intricate technical repairs or heavy machining tools, depending on the project. Millwrights have to be able to understand technical manuals for many different types of machines as well as have a high level of problem solving skills.

NCCER - PIPEFITTING LEVEL 1
Pipefitters install and repair both high- and low-pressure pipe systems used in manufacturing, in the generation of electricity, and in the heating and cooling of buildings. Every NCCER Level 1 craft course begins with NCCER's CORE curriculum which is a prerequisite to all other craft courses. The modules covered in CORE include topics such as basic safety, construction math, hand tools, power tools, blueprint reading, basic rigging, basic communication skills and basic employability skills. Completing the CORE curriculum gives the trainee the basic skills needed to continue education in any craft area. Participants will receive an NCCER transcript, certificate and an initial wallet card upon completion of CORE and any other full level of a craft. NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING
Nondestructive testing (NDT) is the process of inspecting, testing, or evaluating materials, components or assemblies for discontinuities, or differences in characteristics without destroying the serviceability of the part or system. The NDT course at BRCC involves the use of visual inspection, liquid penetrant inspection, magnetic particle inspection, ultrasonic inspections and radiography inspection. The course is 642 hours in length. COLLISION REPAIR APPRAISAL
Covers common industry terms to use in a damage report along with collision-estimating guides to identify additional information that should be obtained from the customer prior to writing a damage report. This course requires a one time fee for I-CAR curriculum access.

COLLISION-PAINT & REFINISHING
This class will consist of up to 14 modules. Class topics range from introduction to repair process, procedures, terms, parts, tools, equipment, attachment methods, mechanical and safety systems, vehicle construction material, and refinishing and corrosion protection. This course also covers color maps, electronic paint formulation systems, and techniques to make spray out panels for color evaluation and tri-coat finishes. Other techniques include final sanding, masking, color mixing and tinting, spray booth operations, and applying primers, sealers, and clear coats. All supplies and curriculum access are included in the price of the course. Students can decide to take the I-Cars End of Program Exam at their discretion.

This course consists a series of courses from S/P2 designed to enhance the skills of trainees. This course is designed improve the equipment knowledge, general automotive service skills and performance for entry level service technicians.
