BATON ROUGE – Baton Rouge Community College is pleased to announce Regina Davis, ExxonMobil Baton Rouge Complex Operations Manager, as keynote speaker for the College’s 30th Commencement Ceremony on Tuesday, May 19, at 10 a.m. inside the Raising Cane’s River Center.

Originally from New Orleans, Davis became the leader of the ExxonMobil Baton Rouge Refinery in September 2023. In 2025, the Refinery andRegina Davis Headshot Chemical Plant integrated and became the Baton Rouge Complex, where Davis serves as the Complex Operations Manager. Davis has more than 25 years of experience in the industry and has worked in Virginia, Texas and Alberta, Canada, before taking on her current role in Baton Rouge. ExxonMobil is one of BRCC’s industry partners through the North Baton Rouge Industrial Training Initiative (NBRITI) and other programs.

BRCC anticipates celebrating a class of more than 1,200 graduates from the Summer 2025, Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters during the ceremony.

Among that number is approximately 200 dual enrollment students that would represent the highest number of dual enrollment graduates in BRCC history. Dual enrollment students attend local area high schools while simultaneously taking courses at BRCC. They will earn both their high school diploma and an associate degree from BRCC. This enables these students to continue their education or become job-ready sooner.

The commencement ceremony will be live streamed on the BRCC YouTube channel.

Guests who attend commencement should note parking may be limited near the Raising Cane’s River City and plan to arrive early. Attendees should be aware the Raising Cane’s River Center has a Clear Bag Policy.
