BATON ROUGE – Baton Rouge Community College Provost and Vice Chancellor for Workforce
and Student Development Sarah Barlow is prominently featured in the 2026 Inspire section
of the February edition of 225 Magazine.
The list is composed of women in the Capital Region whose contributions to community
and commitment to excellence inspire people around them every day.
Barlow has worked at BRCC for more than 15 years and has served in her current capacity
as Provost and Vice Chancellor for Workforce and Student Development since December
2022.
“I deeply believe in the power of this institution to change lives,” Barlow said.
“This work isn’t abstract to me –it’s personal, and it’s purposeful. Every day, I
get to lead dedicated teams who build pathways for students balancing work, family,
and ambition. Together, we create programs that connect education to real workforce
opportunities and strengthen the future of our community. I love this work—not just
for what it accomplishes today, but for what it makes possible tomorrow.”
The Inspire section of 225 Magazine is available now in print and online.
