Baton Rouge Community College’s STEM Division

Baton Rouge Community College’s (BRCC) STEM Division is excited to invite the community to its "STEM Extravaganza", an open house event showcasing how the division prepares students for the workforce and for transfer to four-year universities.

Date & Time: Wednesday, February 19, 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Location: Cypress Building, BRCC Mid-City Campus

This free event is open to the public and is designed for:

  • Current and prospective students
  • Industry partners looking to build or enhance relationships
  • Four-year university representatives exploring collaborations
Event Highlights:
  • Meet the STEM administration and faculty
  • Learn about STEM degrees and student opportunities
  • Tour state-of-the-art math and computer labs
  • Interactive demonstrations with STEM Division robots: Pepper and Poppie
  • Explore the Louisiana Freshwater Sponge Project research lab with BRCC research students and the lab’s principal investigator
  • Enjoy hands-on, family-friendly activities
