BATON ROUGE – Parents and students in the Capital Region looking for affordable, educational and fun summer camp experiences have perfect options with Baton Rouge Community College’s three exciting summer camps that are now open for registration.

BRCC is hosting the LEAP Readiness summer camp for children in grades 3-5, the Career Labs camp sponsored by Care South for children in grades 6-8 and the ACT Prep camp for children in grades 8-12.

All three camps are designed to build skills and boost scores for campers.

The camps cost between $125-$150 per student per week, and each camp has a flexible schedule with sessions in June and July.

The LEAP readiness camp will prepare rising 3rd-5th graders to take the LEAP test, and the camp will focus on ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies.

Career Labs @ BRCC sponsored by Care South offers rising 6th-8th graders exciting tracks to explore future careers through hands-on, creative learning experiences. Campers will delve into digital arts, cyber & tech, healthcare careers, skilled trades and business operations.

The Summer Intensive ACT Prep camp for rising 8th-12th graders will provide targeted instruction and practice for both English and Mathematics to help students achieve their highest potential ACT score.

All three camps will take place on the BRCC Mid City campus located at 201 Community College Drive.
