Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) invites the public to honor military veterans at its annual Veterans Day Program on Thursday, November 7, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Magnolia Theater on BRCC’s Mid City Campus, 201 Community College Dr. The event will pay tribute to the bravery, dedication, and sacrifices of all who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Keynote Speaker: Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) David Marshall Jr.
Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) David Marshall Jr. has a distinguished military career, which includes deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Egypt. Lt. Col. Marshall has served in various leadership roles across the globe and brings a unique perspective on the impact of military service and resilience. His numerous honors include the Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, and Meritorious Service Medals. In addition to his military achievements, Lt. Col. Marshall holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Agricultural Sciences from Southern University and A&M College and a Master of Arts in Procurement and Acquisition Management from Webster University.
