All refunds will be delivered through BankMobile Disbursements. Every newly enrolled student will receive a refund selection kit with a personal code in the mail from BankMobile Disbursements. Students will need to visit RefundSelection.com and select a refund preference. Students may choose from two options:
- ELECTRONIC DEPOSIT TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT - Money is transferred to another account the same business day BankMobile receives funds from your school. Typically, it takes 1 – 2 business days for the receiving bank to credit the money to your account.
- ELECTRONIC DEPOSIT TO A BANKMOBILE VIBE ACCOUNT - If you open a BankMobile Vibe account (upon identity verification), money is deposited the same business day BankMobile receives funds from your school.
It is the student’s responsibility to verify that his or her correct address is on file with the college. To learn more about BankMobile Disbursements, students may visit BankMobileDisbursements.com/how-it-works.
Follow these steps:
- Log in to your LOLA (BRCC’s Online student portal) account
- Go to STUDENT TAB and then to the ACADEMIC LINKS section, click on SELECT REFUND CHOICE.
- You will be directed to the BankMobile webpage, follow the instructions to set up how you want your refund delivered.
If the student decides they do not want to use BankMobile to receive their refund, they can come to the Bursar Office and request a check. By doing so, the student must complete the check request form so that BankMobile can be disabled and the student will receive refund checks from BRCC (if refund is due). The check will be mailed to the address on file with BRCC.
Refunds are processed at the end of the drop period. Since registration is ongoing, this is done to prevent money being sent back to a student who may be changing one class for another class.
