This course includes theory, skills lab, and external clinical experience required of general nurse aids in long term and other healthcare facilities. This includes basic patient care, activities of daily living, patient measurements, and other health maintenance activities. Upon completion of this course, students are well prepared to sit for the LCTCS or Prometric proctored written and skills competency certification exam.
