About the Program

Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) proudly launches the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Technician Training Program — a hands-on, non-credit course designed to prepare students for high-demand careers in electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.

Developed in partnership with Louisiana Clean Fuels and funded in part by the GUMBO Grant Initiative, this program builds the skills needed to operate, maintain, and install EV charging stations. Training follows guidance from the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) certification framework.
