Clinical Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA)
CCMA’s are needed in a variety of settings and are an integral part of the medical team that works directly with the Healthcare Provider. The CCMA program provides both classroom and hands-on instruction regarding the role of the medical assistant in the practical setting. Classroom lectures cover the overview of the human body and its system. The hands-on component teaches skills like EKG, Phlebotomy, Wound Care, Medication Administration, Lab Collections/Testing, Glucometer Testing, etc.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be eligible to take the CCMA exam from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

Certified Nurse Aide & Mental Health Technician
This is a hybrid class for open-enrollment and dual-enrollment students. Students can choose either CNA or CMHT or complete both courses.
Mental Health Technician: This accelerated course includes classroom and hands-on lab experience. It prepares students for the CMHT exam through the NCCB, focusing on mental health care, hygiene, basic patient assessment, and medication administration.
Certified Nurse Aide: This course includes theory, lab skills, and clinical experience. It prepares students for the Prometric exam and covers required caregiving skills in long-term care facilities.

Medication Attendant Certified (MAC)
The MAC is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who has received additional training in medication preparation and administration. The MAC’s primary role is to administer medications under delegation from a licensed nurse.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be eligible to take the CCMA exam from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

Clinical/Admissions Requirements:
*MAC ONLY* Minimum of 1-year full-time work as a CNA (unencumbered and listed on state
registry). A letter documenting a minimum of 1 year of experience is required from
the employer.
Vaccine Record (Tetanus, TB, Flu, COVID, Hep B), Criminal Background Check, 10-panel
drug screen, High school diploma or equivalent, 18 years or older.
