College IDs

College IDs are required for employees and students attending BRCC Locations. The purpose is to help identify and improve operations and allow other constituents of the College to identify all students and employees associated with Baton Rouge Community College.

Uses of Your BRCC ID

BRCC identification cards must be presented to:

  • Attend or participate in various events at BRCC sponsored by the Office of Student Life and the Athletic Department.
  • Access gated faculty parking.
  • Obtain student discount privileges with collaborating community businesses.
  • Access many other essential College functions.

How to Obtain Your BRCC ID

All BRCC employees and students will be required to submit information through the secure on-line portal. Special provisions may apply to High School Students.

ID fees must be paid to the Bursar's Office before applying. IDs are processed as early as two (2) weeks prior to the beginning of each semester.

ID Application Steps:

  1. Complete the required information on the form.
  2. Upload a picture of your valid identification (driver's license/state identification).
  3. Upload a photo for your BRCC ID card.
  4. Submit the form to Public Safety.

ID Replacements and Fees

Replacements (Worn, Expired, Lost, or Stolen)

  • If replacements are needed for a worn or expired ID (beyond 2 years from the date issued), Public Safety will simply reprint the current photo in the system.
  • In the event an ID is lost or stolen, a $5.00 replacement fee is assessed and must be paid to the Bursar's office prior to issuing a replacement ID.
  • If a returning student does not have an ID photo on file, it will be created from the photo uploaded through the on-line link.
