CLEP

BRCC will award college credit to students who receive the appropriate passing score on certain CLEP exams. To view a list of CLEP exams accepted by BRC and the scores required, please visit our Prior Learning Assessment page.

A test voucher must be purchased from CollegeBoard before registering with us to take an exam. There is a $30 proctoring fee per exam administered.

How to Register

  1. purchase your testing voucher through CLEP
  2. Select CLEP as your exam group when registering with us
  3. Then pay the $30 Proctoring fee prior to your appointment

What you need to bring the day of the exam

  • Please arrive with a photo ID
  • Your email receipt of payment
  • The voucher ticket from CLEP

Submitting CLEP Scores

  1. Visit the CollegeBoard website for information on CLEP score transcripts.
  2. Score reports should be sent directly to the BRCC Office of Enrollment Services for review.
